Senior Executive Market Updates – Strong start to Q4
As previously reported from the InterExec network of Search Consultants, Q4 is starting with a strong market across the major business sectors and in the key geographic regions including the UK, Europe, US and Middle East. The 15,000 strong global network are reporting increased levels of current mandates and a positive outlook for the Senior Executive hunting their next challenge.
The network has seen the expected increase in activity in the market since the beginning of September after the usual quieter summer period.
Market conditions continue to improve cross-sector although there is still a degree of fragmentation.
For example, Search Consultants in the life sciences and pharmaceutical space recently stated that they’re seeing a lot of CEM / CMO / CSO and Board mandates, however slightly less in commercial functions such as marketing and market access.
Broadly speaking, investment within the tech space is clearly picking up after the market uncertainty caused by Silicon Valley Bank and Credit Suisse earlier in the year. In both the US and Europe, investment is improving with a perceived economic stabilisation reported as an additional factor.
In a wide range of business sectors including hospitality, engineering, oil and gas and automotive there is increasing activity.
In the broad financial, insurance, pension and professional services sectors the market has picked up substantially in the UK, Europe, US as well as Africa and the Middle East. Search consultants indicate that all recovered to a stronger position and the InterExec network reports an extensive list of opportunities at Senior Executive level.
