Senior Executive Market Updates – Current Opportunties

The InterExec network of Search Consultants report that the market, in terms of Senior Executive mandates and the related hunt for outstanding candidates, remains active in several key business sectors and across the major geographic regions.

The situation is best summarised by the comments of one highly experienced Search Consultant, “ Sometimes it does quieten down in July and August, but that doesn’t seem to be the case this year”.

the Financial Services and Markets Bill has received royal assent, securing the passage into law of the government’s overhaul of financial services regulation.

The government claims the reforms enable the UK to capitalise on ‘Brexit freedoms’, unlocking billions of pounds which could be directed to investment in the UK.

In short, the act empowers UK regulators to replace and adjust existing EU rules into UK law. The ambition is to turn the UK into a more streamlined and nimbler Financial Services hub.

Cryptocurrency continues to be an area which is attracting interest in the UK and globally with the UK, US and EU all increasingly active markets.
